Delete your DriveChat account

You can delete your DriveChat account and everything in it. There are two ways.

From inside the app (immediate)

Open DriveChat and go to the Profile tab.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
Confirm. The deletion happens straight away.

By email

If you cannot sign in, email support@drivechat.ro from the address on the account, with the subject "Delete my account". We complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm when it is done.

What gets deleted

Your account, email address, display name, bio and profile picture.
Every message you sent — text, photos, voice notes, music links and locations.
Your friendships and group memberships. Groups you owned pass to another member, or are deleted if you were the only one left.
Rooms you host, which are closed.
Your saved device push tokens.

Your email address becomes free to register again immediately.

What we keep, and for how long

If your content was reported by another user, we keep that report and the copy of the reported content for up to 12 months, so repeat behaviour can be recognised. This is the only exception, and it is kept separately from your account.
